Questions buyers ask
Why several materials for the same product?
Because the same shape serves different uses. This family exists in PET, rPET. The shape is identical, the service temperature is not — which is why the material belongs in the purchase order.
Can I claim recycled content on this?
Only with the evidence. Recycled plastic in food contact falls under Regulation (EU) 2022/1616: the recycling process itself must be authorised and carry an EU register number. Ask for that number before the claim goes on a pack.
